Accessibility Statement

Rentova is committed to making its website and application usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology.

Our commitment

Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA for this website, the Rentova application, and the tenant, owner and vendor portals. Accessibility is part of how we build: new screens are reviewed for keyboard use, labelling, contrast and screen-reader announcements before they ship.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with page landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a single page title per screen.
  • Every form control has a visible label; validation errors are announced and tied to the field they describe.
  • Everything you can do with a mouse you can do with a keyboard, in a sensible focus order, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text and interface contrast is checked against the AA thresholds (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for large text and controls).
  • The application ships four colour themes, including a High Contrast theme, and a Compact density option under Settings → Appearance.
  • Layouts reflow to narrow screens and honour browser zoom up to 200% without horizontal scrolling.
  • Decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology; meaningful ones carry text alternatives.

Current status and known limitations

We assess conformance with a combination of automated checks (axe-core) and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing. As of the date above, the public website and the sign-in and registration screens pass the automated checks. Known gaps we are working through:

  • Some application data tables and charts do not yet expose a text alternative for the trends they show.
  • PDF documents generated by the platform (statements, legal documents) are not yet tagged for screen readers; the same content is available as HTML on the corresponding page.
  • Third-party components used for payments and e-signature (both off during the beta) are governed by their vendors' accessibility statements.
  • The mobile applications have not yet been audited.

During the private beta

Screens are still changing. If you find an accessibility barrier, tell us and we will prioritise it. Beta customers who need an accommodation to use a specific workflow can ask for one at the address below.

Report a problem

Email beta@rentova.com with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to fix confirmed barriers in the next release.

If you prefer, use the contact page for other ways to reach us.

Technical information

Rentova relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS and JavaScript. It is tested in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, with VoiceOver and NVDA. Accessibility depends on these technologies being enabled in your browser.
